The program is simplicity itself to use and everything that you put on it can be accessed easily - no fuss - no problem. I find it very useful to have displayed only the icons relevant to the matter in hand  and yet be reminded of other routes to achieve my objective. eg icons for alternative browsers under the "Net" tab, or alternative graphic programs under the "Media" tab - Dave Tennant I find Smart desktop very useful, I love the way you can categorise your icons using differant tabs.
